Ceramic Fig
Incense Holder
A handmade glazed ceramic incense holder shaped like a fig. Features a hole for standard incense sticks, which holds them securely during use and catches ash on the ceramic base. Can also accommodate sage bundles and palo santo, or be used as a small dish for jewellery.
Each piece is formed by hand — glaze finish, shape, and weight vary between pieces.
Three uses
one piece
The hole in the surface holds standard incense sticks upright during use. The ceramic base catches falling ash as the incense burns down.
The shape and size also accommodate sage bundles and palo santo sticks. The ceramic dish provides a stable base for use.
The dish can be used as a small tray for storing rings, earrings, or other small items when not in use for incense.
How to use it
Set the holder on a flat, heat-safe surface. Insert the incense stick into the hole until it sits securely.
Light the tip of the incense stick and allow it to catch. Blow out the flame and let it smoulder.
Do not leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets.
Wipe ash from the surface with a dry cloth after use. Do not submerge in water.
Handmade,
each one unique
Each holder is made by hand from ceramic clay and finished with a glazed surface. The fig shape is formed individually — no two pieces are identical in weight, glaze depth, or surface texture.
Glazed surface with a smooth finish. Minor variations in the glaze finish are expected and are part of the handmade character of each piece.
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water or place in a dishwasher.
